MANAGEMENT

Dwight Wolf Sr.

President and CEO

Dwight grew up in the construction industry and worked his way through high school and college for Piland Construction Company, a Virginia Class A licensed general contractor in Newport News, VA. In 1985, he established Wolf Contractors, Inc. and in 1988, he left Piland to run Wolf Contractors full time. As owner, President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Wolf developed the company into a major site development company and general contractor in the highly competitive southeastern market.

Gerry Schulte

Senior Project Manager and Estimator

Gerry was born into a construction family, and helped operate the family-owned business in the Midwest for 20 years, specializing in all types of rural/urban land development. He started as an operator, working summers during school, and eventually rose to become President before moving to Virginia Beach in 1985. Since coming to Wolf, he has served as the Project Manager of for nineteen years, handling all aspects of each project, including planning, material acquisition, billing, receivables and change orders, and direction of work activities on site. Gerry is easing into retirement, but will continue to assist with estimating into most of 2023.

Dwight Wolf II, PE

Project Manager

Dwight attended Virginia Tech and graduated in 2016 with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He started off his construction career at WM Jordan Company working on the general contractor side of the industry. After a few years at WM Jordan, Dwight moved to national civil engineering firm RK&K to pursue his goal of obtaining a Professional Engineering license. He obtained his PE license in 2022 after four years at RK&K, with a speciality in underground utility design. Dwight joined the family business in the summer of 2022 and quickly moved to become the lead project manager on all active projects.
